Abstract:

Настоящая статья посвящена проблеме повышения уровня жизни пенсионеров в РА. Учитывая тенденцию постепенного увеличения численности пенсионеров в РА, в статье сделана попытка выявления приблизительной численности пенсионеров в последующие годы. Особое внимание уделено основным социально-экономическим показателям уровня жизни, возрастно-половой структуре и средней продолжительности жизни населения. Поскольку повышение уровня жизни пенсионеров имеет важное социальное значение, то им должны быть озабочены как члены общества, так и государство. The article presents the issues of improving standards of living of pensioners in the Republic of Armenia. By taking into account the trend pattern of aging population (growing number of pensioners), the article attempts to identify the approximate number of people to be eligible to receive pension (social pensioners and retirees). Specifically, socio-economic indicators of pensioners, distribution of the population by age and gender, and life expectancy are discussed by the author. Since improving the living standards of pensioners is of social importance, this process needs to be constantly monitored by the government and the general public.
