Жизнь армянского государственного и военного деятеля, политолога-философа и национального идеолога Гарегина Нжде насыщена многими увлекательными и замечательными событиями, которые необходимо освещать и предать гласности. Одно из таких событий помощь Нжде археологической экспедиции профессора Марра в Ани в 1918 г. Накануне Первой мировой войны, будучи «помилованным» царским правительством, Нжде возвращается на Кавказ под условием участия в войне против Турции. В 1918 году весной Нжде ведет бои у Аладжи (населенный пункт в окрестностях Ани), что позволило отступающим армянским военным частям без потерь переправиться в Александрополь (Гюмри). Нжде со своими людьми также обеспечивает перевозку ценных древностей, найденных экспедицией профессора Марра в Ани. Этот важный факт зафиксирован в автобиографии Гарегина Нжде. "... и из Арпачай (Ахурян) я переправился только тогда, когда моим людям, вместе с последними отступающими армянскими солдатами удалось переправить из Ани ценные древности, являющиеся результатом раскопок профессора Марра. В данной статье представлены подробности вышеупомянутого события, а также дальнейшая судьба спасенных археологических материалов.Сделана попытка выявить важную роль Гарегина Нжде в безопасном перемещении ценных материалов, полученных в результате раскопок Николая Марра в Ани в Александрополь (Гюмри), а также его оценку и сохранение историко-культурных памятников и археологических материалов.
The life of Armenian statesman and military figure, politologist-philosopher and national ideologist Garegin Nzhdeh is full of many fascinating and remarkable events that need to be covered and publicized. Such an event is Nzhdeh's assistance to Professor Marr’s archaeological expedition at Ani in 1918. On the eve of the First World War, having been "pardoned" by the tsarist government, Nzhdeh returns to the Caucasus under the condition of participating in the war against Turkey. In 1918 in the spring, Nzhdeh conducted the battles of Alaca (a settlement in the vicinity of Ani), which enabled the retreating Armenian military units to reach to Alexandrapol (Gyumri) unscathed. Nzhdeh with his people also ensures the transportation of valuable antiquities found by Professor Marr’s expedition at Ani. This important event is recorded in Garegin Nzhdeh's autobiography. "... and Arpachai (Akhuryan) I crossed only when my men with the last retreating Armenian soldiers managed to transport the valuable antiquities that are the result of Professor Marr’s excavations at Ani. This article presents the details of the above-mentioned event, as well as the future fate of the rescued archaeological finds. An attempt has been made to outline the important role of Garegin Nzhdeh in the safe transfer of valuable materials resulting from the excavations of Nikolay Marr atAni to Alexandrapol (Gyumri), as well as his appreciation and preservation of historical and cultural monuments and archaeological materials.
