Abstract:

The versalite works of the armenian great painter edward Isabekyan have always beenin the focus of many art critics. Still in 1941 after the graduating from the tbilisi academyof fine arts, the eminent art historian and the founder of the State Gallery of amenia rubendrambyan revealed, in the preface of the first catalog of the artist, his inclinaton to the heroicromaticism, to historical genre after the armenian classical painter Vardges Surenyants. Thenthe critics (among them art historians, painters and poets) always revealed the classical structureof the compositions, great patriotism, the sublimity of the historical and epic images,landscapes and portraits paint during the long artistic curriculum of eduard Isabekyan.
Многогранное творчество народного художника Э. Исабекяна было в центре внимания критики. Еще в 1941 году, после учебы в Тбилисской академии изящных искусств, маститый искусствовед, основоположник гос. галереи армении Р.Г. Дрампян в Предисловии к первому каталогу произведении Э. Исабекяна отметил склонность художника к героическому романтизму, к историческому жанру после вардгеса суренянца. Впоследствии, критика в лице выдающихся искусствоведов, художников и поэтов, в творчестве исабекяна обнаружила классическое построение композиции, высокий патриотизм, возвышенность изображения исторических и эпических образов, эпичность пейзажной и портретной живописи, воздушность и живописность в его произведениях.
