Abstract:

The objective of the scientific article is to identify the relationships between economic growth and employment patterns within the Republic of Armenia. To achieve the defined goal, the following tasks have been set: observe the interactions between economic growth and employment within the Classical, Keynesian and Institutional perspectives, analyze the relationships between economic growth, population employment and investments from 2008 to 2021 in the Republic of Armenia, and interpret the following results obtained from both classical and institutionalist viewpoints, considering the indicators gathered in the context of research in RA. The impact of economic growth on the employment level has been examined through different economic paradigms. Within the framework of this scientific article the dependence of the economic growth and employment was studied and distinguished through Classical, Keynesian and Institutionalist theories. Furthermore, the correlations between the level of GDP, employment trends and investments in the RA economy in 2008-2021 were analyzed and studied. During the research, statistical analysis, comparative examination, and logical deductions were employed as methodologies. By analyzing the data from the RA's Statistical Committee, it becomes evident that a decline in the working-age population over the observed timeframe corresponded with upward trends in GDP, as well as increased spending and investments in research. Based on the information showing the employment rates and GDP figures, it is clear that there has been a rise in the efficiency of production factors which explains the fact of the increase of the GDP in the conditions of a decrease in employment.
Целью данной статьи является выявление взаимосвязей между тенденциями экономического роста и занятостью населения в Республике Армения. Для достижения данной цели в статье выдвинуты следующие задачи: рассмотреть взаимосвязи между экономическим ростом и тенденциями уровня занятости с точек зрения классической, кейнсианской теорий и институционализма, проанализировать взаимозависимости между экономическим ростом, занятостью населения и инвестициями во временном интервале 2008-2021гг., комментировать полученные результаты на примере РА и обосновать с точки зрения классиков и институционалистов. В рамках разных направлений экономических школ всегда принимался во внимание факт воздействия экономического роста на уровень занятости населения. В рамках данной научной статьи рассматриваются взаимозависимости экономического роста и занятости населения с точки зрения классической, кейнсианской школ и институционализма. Проанализированы также взаимосвязи уровня ВВП, тенденций занятости и инвестиций за 2008-2021гг. В ходе исследования были применены методы статистического анализа, сравнительного анализа и логических обоснований. В резул;тате исследования анализа можно сделать вывод о том, что, наряду со снижением численности трудоспособного населения, наметились тенденции роста ВВП и инвестиций; поэтому ясно, что повышение ВВП в условиях снижения занятости можно обосновать ростом производительности труда.
