This article is a theoretical-practical comparative analysis between the somatic idioms in Armenian and Italian , especially among the idioms with the words “ eye” and “ head” . Somatic are considered to be the idioms composed of the names of the body parts. First we speak about the regularity of these idiom s according to which they are, as a rule , verbal combinations, including both the direct and figurative senses and having different meanings in accordance with the context, etc.
