Abstract:

После Мудросского перемирия в Константинополе собралось большое количество больных среди ссыльных и сирот. Необходимость создания комитета в формате Армянского Красного Креста в Константинополе стала существенной. Армянский Красный Крест был основан 18 ноября 1918 года во время заседания общего собрания. Через несколько недель после своего основания организация открыла филиалы в различных районах города и провинциях страны. Важнейшим местом деятельности стала Западная Армения.
After the Armistice of Mudros, the large number of patients among orphans and deportees who gathered in Polis (Istanbul) highlighted the need to create an institution in the spirit of the Red Cross. The Armenian Red Cross of Istanbul was established in 1918, after the general assembly convened on November 18 of the same year. Soon after its establishment, this organization opened branches in different districts of the city and in the provinces. Western Armenia became the most important place of activity outside of Istanbul.
