Abstract:

С конца 1980-х и особенно с 1990-х годов резко возрос интерес научных кругов разных стран мира к феномену «диаспоры», были проведены масштабные теоретические и эмпирические исследования. Очевидно, что основные причины такого роста интереса связаны с тем, что диаспоры способны играть значительную роль как в отношениях со своими странами происхождения и пребывания, так и в трехсторонних отношениях. Одним из основных вопросов теории диаспоры является определение термина «диаспора». В частности, исследовательский интерес представляет вопрос, какая из различных групп, осевших за пределами родины, может считаться диаспорой, а какая нет. Хотя армянская диаспора в этом смысле не является предметом научных дискуссий и всегда рассматривается как пример «классической» или «старой» диаспоры, есть некоторые вопросы, заслуживающие внимания с точки зрения сравнения ее с теорией диаспоры, которая связана с цивилизационной перспективой армян.
Since the end of the 1980s and especially since the 1990s, the interest of scientific circles in different countries to the "diaspora" phenomenon has increased dramatically, and large-scale theoretical and empirical studies have been carried out. Obviously, the main reasons for such an increase in interest are due to the fact that diasporas are able to play a significant role both in relations with their countries of origin and residence, as well as in trilateral relations. One of the basic issues of diaspora theory is the definition of the term "diaspora". In particular, of research interest is the question which of the various groups who have settled outside their homeland can be considered a diaspora and which cannot. Although the Armenian diaspora is not a subject of scientific debate in this sense and is always considered as an example of "classic" or "old" diaspora, there are some issues worthy of attention in terms of comparing it with the theory of diaspora, which is related to the civilizational perspective of Armenians.
