Abstract:

This paper analyzes the biological and psychological foundation of emotional intelligence. In this study emotional intelligence is considered as the framework for understanding the social relationship. The empirical literature review shows that growth and function of some parts of the brain such as pupa and hippocampus regarding social relationship cause the improvement of emotional intelligence. It has been tried to focus on the essence of this phenomenon in order to recognize and handle the emotions and feelings o f oneself and others.
