Abstract:

При анализе нынешних вызовов наукоемкой экономики Республики Армения возникает необходимость в проведении сравнения уровня ее развития с уровнем развития инновационной, наукоемкой экономики других государств. В рамках статьи делается попытка анализа уровня инновационного развития экономики Армении, Грузии, Беларуси и Эстонии. Страны были выбраны с учетом их географического положения, внешнеполитической направленности, размеров, вовлеченности в территориальные конфликты, численности населения, существующего уровня технологических достижений и т.д.By analyzing the challenges the knowledge-based economy of the Republic of Armenia is currently facing, the authorstresses need for comparing the state of development of the latter one with the level of development of the other innovation- and knowledge-based economies. This article attempts to analyze the state of development of innovationand knowledge-based economies of Armenia, Georgia, Belarus and Estonia. The following criteria are considered while choosing a respective nation: geographical location, size, foreign policy orientation, involvement in territorial and/or regional conflict, population, level of technological achievement, and etc.
