Abstract:

Костан Зарян в своем романе "Рабкооп и кости мамонта" создал образ большевика-интеллигента, прототипом которого стал Егише Чаренц. В литературоведении бытует ошибочное мнение, согласно которому изображенный К. Заряном образ Чарчаряна высмеивает и унижает великого писателя нашего времени. Однако К. Зарян искренне восхищался талантօм Егише Чаренца. In his novel “Bancoop and the Bones of the Mammoth” Kostan Zaryan created a prototype of a bolshevik intellectual image of Yeghishe Charents. There is a widespread false belief that Zaryan used the image of Charcharyan to humiliate one of the greatest writers of our time. Yet, the careful reader can understand the sincere admiration that Zaryan showed towards talented Charents.
