Abstract:

В армянском языке в роли соединительной гласной выступает гласная а, частично – гласная е. Ряд лингвистов соединительную гласную рассматривают в качестве грамматической (формообразующей) морфемы, другие же считают ее словообразующей морфемой или инфиксом. На наш взгляд, соединительная гласная – это вторичная словообразующая морфема, которая в ряде случаев может играть смыслоразличи-тельную роль. In Armenian language the vowel a appears as a connecting vowel. Partly also the vowel e can play the same role. Some linguists consider it a secondary grammatical (forming) morpheme or an infix. In our opinion, the connecting vowel is secondary word forming morpheme devoid of meaning, and sometimes can exhibit meaningful role.
