Abstract:

На основе рукописей и других материалов, сохранившихся в архиве Туманяна, можно составить примерное представление о замысле драмы «Артавазд», ее возможном сюжете, идейных основах, психологических разработках автора, символах. Сравнительный анализ позволяет не только выделить некоторые существенные черты типологической дифференциации легенды об Артавазде, но и возможные гипотезы выявления контекстуальных подслоев драмы. Вопрос рассматривался с применением сопоставительного, историко-сравнительного, интерпретационного методов, с выявлением и анализом основы трагического конфликта между Арташесом и Артаваздом и ключевых черт, представленных в заметках Туманяна и в статье «Об одном разделе “Тенчаир Сатеник” Хоренаци». Сопоставление последовательно сделанных замечаний писателя по поводу персонажей позволяет сделать вывод, что среди циркулирующих версий характера Артавазда, его мифологемы, устойчивости времени и хаоса, добра и зла, двойственности и, наконец, вечной борьбы между жизнью и смертью, Туманян предпочитает записанную версию М. Хоренаци. На страницах тетрадей и рабочих заметок, наряду с описанием типологической и характерной системы мифа, иногда отчетливо просматриваются отдельные наблюдения поэта, раскрывающие его точку зрения и мировоззренческие ориентиры для оценки событий.
On the basis of the manuscripts and other materials preserved in the archives of Tumanyan, one can make a rough idea of the tendency of the drama “Artavazd”, of its possible plot, ideology, psychological developments of the author, and symbols. By means of a comparative examination, not only several essential characteristics of the typological differentiation of Artavazd myth are highlighted, but possible hypotheses for revealing the contextual sub-layers of H. Tumanyan’s “Artavazd” drama are also suggested. While studying the issue, we applied the comparative, historical-comparative, interpretive methods, pointing out and analyzing the basis of tragical conflict between Artashes and Artavazd and the key features in Tumanyan’s notes and in the article “On the section of “Tenchair Satenik” by Khorenatsi”. Comparison of the writer’s successive remarks about the characters allows us to conclude that among the circulating versions of Artavazd’s character, his mythologems, the stability of time and chaos, good and evil, duality, and finally, the eternal struggle between life and death, Tumanyan prefers the recorded version of M. Khorenatsi. On the pages of his notebooks and working notes along with the descriptions of the typological and characteristic system of the myth, sometimes certain observations of the poet are clearly visible, which reveal his standpoint and worldview references for assessing the events.
