В период 1918-1920гг. в результате погромов армян Нухи н Ареша было разорено 53 армянских селения, полностью разграблено их имущество, уничтожено множество памятников армянской культуры. Опустошенные деревни заселялись лезгинами и татарами. Из более 50000 армян жертвами стали 40000. During the period of 1918-1920 on the results of massacres of armenians in Noukhi and Aresh 53 armenian villages were destroyed, plundered and ravages, a lot of monuments of armenian culture were ruined, and devastated villages were settled by lezgins and tatars. There were 50000 Armenians and 40000 of them became victims.
