Abstract:

Проблема гуманитарного содействия армянам, пережившим Геноцид, является одной из малоосвещенных в Армянской историографии. В исследовании данной проблемы нужно уделять должное внимание природе и объему интересов США в Османской империи к началу XX века. The issue of providing humanitarian help to the survivors of the Armenian Genocide is one of the scarcely covered topics in modern Armenian historiography. In the research of this topic one should seriously take into consideration the nature and extent of the US interests in the Ottoman Empire at the beginning of the 20th century.
