Abstract:

Specific borrowings, which represent a separate layer among borrowings, are borrowed words denoting phenomena, habits, and things characteristic of a given people, specific to a given country, which can sometimes gain international popularity. The skillful use of specific borrowings requir es certain knowledge about the lifestyle, beliefs, art, literature, and customs of a given people. The most important source for studying the history of any people is its language, especially its vocabulary, which reflects all aspects of the life of a given people, and at the same time, the historical and cultural ties of a given ethnic group with other peoples are visible.
