Abstract:

In lhe second half of lhe XVIII Century Armenian population in Russia was increasing. Under more active Russian policy in the East and along wilh improvement of Armcnian-Russian political relations, the Armenian-Russian church relations became closer and more tolerant. Owing to mediation of political authorities, the Armenian Church in Russia stayed free from religious rcstrictions, new churches were built and Church Charter of the Armenian Church of Russia was developed.
