Abstract:

В преддверии Первой мировой войны армянская церковь, которую всегда заботила судьба своей паствы, самыми разными способами пробовала уменьшить ужасы Геноцида. Несмотря на это все попытки армянской церкви остановить резню своего народа, остались безрезультатными. Более того, жертвами геноцида стали сами многочисленные отцы армянской церкви. Однако, армянская церковь делала все возможное для спасения от голода, болезней, гибели западноармянских беженцев. Before the World War I the Armenian Church, which took care of its community, tried to alleviate the atrocities of the Genocide in different ways. Nevertheless, all the efforts of the Armenian Church to stop the massacre of its nation remained without any results. Furthermore, a great number of fathers of the Armenian Church themselves became victims of the Genocide. However, the Armenian Church did everything possible to save the Western Armenians from hunger, diseases and death.
