В армянском художественном мышлении в прямых и косвенных разработках проблема отцов и детей в психологическом, идейном и литературном плане часто проявляется темой сиротства героя, идентификацией отцов и сыновей, образов отца и родины. Предположительно причиной тому является долговременное отсутствие государственности, чужое господство: в армянской культуре способствующий развитию нации диалог отцов и детей оказался на заднем плане, проявляясь в подавляющем большинстве в размышлениях о судьбе и истории нации, оставаясь в рамках темы сохранения этнической идентичности. Вопрос может быть рассмотрен также в обратном причинноследственном порядке. Разработка проблемы предполагает основательное культурологическое и политологическое исследование. In Armenian literary thinking, the problem of fathers and sons, in direct and indirect arrangements in psychology, idea, and literature, often appears as the theme of the hero’s orphanhood, the identification of fathers and sons, and the images of the father and the fatherland. The presumed reason for it is the long-term absence of statehood in a situation of foreign hegemony. The dialogue between fathers and sons to foster the development of nation appears in the background scene of Armenian culture. It basically shows up in meditations on national fortune and history, within the scope of maintenance of ethnic identity. The issue may also be examined in the opposite relationship of cause and effect. The development of the problem assumes basic research in cultural and political studies.
