В 1815 г. по инициативе и на средства дворянской семьи Лазарьянов в Москве открылся Лазаревский Институт, который со второй половине XIX века и до первых лет XX века был не только одним из центров армянской интеллектуальной жизни, но и стал знаменитым в России и в армено-ведческих центрах Европы. In 1815 Lazaryan noble family opened a seminary in Moscow on its initiative and at its own expenses, which from the second half of the XIX century to the first years of the XX century was not only a center of Armenian intellectual life, but it was also famous in all the Armenological centers of Russia and Europe.
