В статье рассматриваются принципы Манука Абегяна, его точка зрения и основные методы анализа исторических плачей Нерсеса Шнорали и Степаноса Орбеляна, а также выводы, которые основываются на сравнении двух плачей. Абегян оценивает исторический плач в контексте армянской литературы, он показывает новизну каждого плача и общие аспекты плачей в целом. The article aims to discuss Manuk Abeghyan’s principles, basic viewpoints and methods in the analysis of the historical lamentations by Nerses Shnorhali and Stepanos Orbelyan, as well as the conclusions that feat from the comparison of two lamentations. Abeghyan evaluates the historical Lamentations in the context of Armenian literature, he shows the novelty of each lamentation and the common aspects of lamentations in general.
