Abstract:

В данной статье рассматривается концепт “Западная Армения” в произведениях известного армянского писателя А.Айвазяна, уже ставшего классиком. В текстах А.Айвазяна нами отмечены некоторые смысловые компоненты концепта “Западная Армения” – турецкое иго, война, потерянная родина, беженец, которые могут активизироваться в сознании армянина одним лишь упоминанием топонимов Западной Армении. Однако, как показывает наш анализ, переводчики не во всех случаях смогли распознать данный концепт, который намеренно был использован автором, глубоко переживающим некогда запретную тему истории национальной трагедии.
In this article we analyzed the concept “Western Armenia” in the works of the great Armenian writer A. Ayvazyan. In the A. Ayvazyan’s texts we noted several semantic component of the concept “Western Armenia” – the Turkish yoke, war, lost homeland/motherland/country, refugee. And all this can be activated in the minds of Armenian only mention of toponyms of Western Armenia. However, as our analysis shows, not in all cases, the translators were able to recognize this concept, which is no accident was introduced by the author, deeply experienced the tragedy of his people, about which was forbidden to speak.
