Abstract:

Seven decrees issued by Shah Tahmasb II Safavid are kept in the Archive of Catholicosate of Yerevan Matenadaran. Those decrees, dated by the years 1720, 1724 and 1731, are important historical sources of the history of Armenian people, Iran and their political relations in that period. Aulhor discusses the informalion contained in those decrees in comparison with the reports of other (Persian and Armenian) sources.
