Abstract:

The purpose of this article is to study the features and basic principles of the global infrastructure project “Build Back Better World” (B3W) announced at the G7 summit in June 2021. The article particularly emphasizes the prospect of this project to become the most serious challenge for the Chinese "Belt and Road" ("BRI") initiative. It also reveals the consequences of the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan for the Chinese "BRI" project.
