Abstract:

Как в прошлом, так и в наши дни турецкие историки пытаются фальсифицировать историю армянского национально-освободительного движения, характеризуя его как заговор против османских властей, явившийся одной из причин упадка Османской империи. Борьба западных армян носила самооборонительный характер и была вызвана крайне тяжелым положением армян, подвергавшихся гнету и притеснениям. The Turkish historians have been trying to falsify history of the Armenian National Liberation Movement since the past. They also try to humiliate the struggle, which was spontaneous, without any provocation, and was very natural and logical for the Western Armenians, who were hopeless and had no other way out. It was a self-defense, a measure of protection and a response to the sufferings they had borne.
