Abstract:

Հնդեվրոպական լեզուներում գոյականի քերականական սեռի զարգացման նոր վարկածի առաջարկը կապված է ածականի հոլովման պատմության հետ: Ենթադրվում է, որ սեռի հակադրությունն առաջացել է ոչ թե իմաստային, այլ անվանական հոլովման ձևավորման ընթացքում` ձևական գործոնների ազդեցության ներքո, ինչի պատճառով այն լեզուներում, որոնցում ածականը կորցրել է հոլովումը, վերացել են նաև գոյականի սեռի հակադրությունները: In Indo-European languages, the recent theory in the development of the gender of nouns suggests a connection with the history of the adjective declension. Presumably, patrimonial relations were formed not due to semantic but formal factors in the period of nominal declension. This led to the disappearance of patrimonial oppositions.
