Abstract:

Банковская система является самым крупным сектором финансового рынка Армении. В статье представлена история формирования и развития современной банковской системы в Армении после распада советской власти. Были изучены изменения, осуществляемые Центральным банком, их воздействия. Проанализированы основные финансовые показатели,характеризующие банковский сектор Армении, результаты деятельности банков, действующих на территории Армении, и их изменения. The banking system is the largest sector of the financial market in the Republic of Armenia. The article presents the evolution of the modern banking system in Armenia upon the collapse of Soviet Union. The changes undertaken by the Central Bank and the impacts and or consequences of thereof have been studied. The main financial indicators characterizing the banking sector in the Republic of Armenia, the performance and the progress reported by the banks operating in the territory of the Republic of Armenia have been analyzed as well.
