To improve the CANDLE synchrotron light source brightness, new low emittance lattices for CANDLE booster and storage ring have been studied. New lattice configurations take into account recent developments in multi-bend achromat design and advanced magnet fabrication technology. The main design considerations, linear and non-linear beam dynamics for booster and storage ring modified lattices are presented
