Abstract:

Հոդվածի նպատակն է ուսումնասիրել աշխարհաքաղաքական մրցակցության արդի գործընթացների հնարավոր զարգացումները հետկորոնավիրուսային աշխարհում։ Այդ նպատակով ուսումնասիրվել է Չինաստանի ձգտումը և Պեկինի նետած մարտահրավերը՝ որպես գլոբալ գերտերության կարգավիճակ ունեցող պետության դերակատարման հավակնորդ։ Որպես առանցքային գործոն դիտարկվել են Չինաստանի նախաձեռնողականությունը, մասնավորապես՝ միջազգային ներդրումների ոլորտում, ինչպես նաև փափուկ ուժի և դիվանագիտության կիրառումը Ասիայից մինչ Աֆրիկա և Եվրոպա՝ «Գոտի և Ճանապարհ» նախաձեռնության համատեքստում։ Ուսումնասիրման հիմնական առարկա է դեռևս միակ գլոբալ գերտերության կարգավիճակ ունեցող ԱՄՆ-ի քաղաքականությունը՝ չինական նկրտումներին հակազդելու նպատակով։
The aim of the article is to study the likely developments in the current processes of geopolitical rivalry in the post-coronavirus world. To this end, the article examines China’s aspirations and the challenge posed by Beijing as a candidate striving for the role of a global superpower. The key factors discussed are China’s initiative, particularly in the field of international investments, as well as the use of soft power and diplomacy from Asia to Africa and to Europe in the context of the “The Belt and Road” initiative. The main subject of the article is the US policy, which still has the status of the only global superpower countering China’s aspirations. The article also studies the mechanisms used by the US to restrain China, the political and economic tools, including the use of sanctions as well as the problem of putting the issue of human rights in China on international agenda.
