Abstract:

Ժամանակակից տեղեկատվական հասարակության պայմաններում գրադարանների արդյունավետ գործունեությունը մեծապես պայմանավորված է գրադարանային ոլորտում աշխատող մարդկանց մասնագիտական կրթությամբ և շարունակական զարգացմամբ։ Հայաստանյան գրադարանները, ունենալով հարուստ տպագիր ժառանգություն և միաժամանակ կանգնած լինելով թվայնացման ու տեղեկատվական նոր պահանջների առջև, հատկապես կարիք ունեն բարձր որակավորում ունեցող գրադարանային մասնագետների։ Սույն ուսումնասիրության նպատակն է հիմնավորել գրադարանային մասնագիտական կրթության կարևորությունը հայաստանյան գրադարաննե-րի զարգացման և ծառայությունների որակի բարձրացման համատեքստում։ Հետազոտության խնդիրներն են՝ բացահայտել գրադարանային կրթության դերը գրադարանների արդիականացման գործընթացներում, վերլուծել մասնագիտական պատրաստվածության ազդեցությունը տեղեկատվական ծառայությունների արդյունավետության վրա և գնահատել շարունակական կրթության անհրաժեշտությունը ոլորտում։ Կարող ենք նշել, որ գրադարանային մասնագիտական կրթության զարգացումը հայաստանյան գրադարանների մրցունակության, ընթերցողների պահանջներին համապատաս-խան ծառայությունների ապահովման և գիտելիքահեն հասարակության ձևավորման կարևոր նախապայմանն է։
In the context of the modern information society, the effective functioning of libraries largely depends on the level of professional education and conti-nuous development of individuals working in the library sector. Armenian libra-ries, possessing a rich cultural heritage while simultaneously facing the challen-ges of digitalization and new information demands, are in particular need of highly qualified library professionals. The aim of this article is to substantiate the importance of professional library education in the context of the development of Armenian libraries and the improvement of service quality. The objectives of the study include identi-fying the role of library education in the modernization processes of libraries, analyzing the impact of professional training on the effectiveness of information services, and assessing the necessity of continuous professional development in the field. It can be confidently argued that the development of professional libra-ry education constitutes an essential prerequisite for the competitiveness of Ar-menian libraries, the provision of services that meet users’ needs, and the for-mation of a knowledge-based society.
