Abstract:

Հոդվածը նպատակ ունի ներկայացնելու ՀՀ ԳԱԱ Հիմնարար գիտա-կան գրադարանի գործունեությունն ու ռազմավարական նշանակությունը գիտության, կրթության և մշակույթի ոլորտներում հիմնադրման օրվանից: Առաջադրել ենք հետևյալ խնդիրները՝ ներկայացնել գրադարանի պատմական ձևավորման և զարգացման փուլերը, վերլուծել ժամանակակից տեղեկատվական միջավայրում նրա գործառույթների վերափոխումը, արժևորել գրադարանի հավաքածուները, ամբողջացել գրադարանի մատենագիտական գործունեությունը հայագիտական շտեմարանների ձևավորման գործում: Ընդգծել ենք, որ Հիմնարար գիտական գրադարանը վաղուց արդեն դուրս է եկել դասական գրադարանի սահմաններից և վերածվել գիտելիքի ստեղծման, պահպանման և տարածման բազմագործառույթային հարթակի։ Կարծում ենք՝ սույն հոդվածը հնարավորություն կտա գիտական հանրության ուշադրությունը բևեռել գրադարանի վրա՝ որպես ազգային գիտա-կան մտածողության, մշակութային հիշողության և միջազգային հաղորդակցության կարևորագույն ինստիտուտ։
The article aims to present the activities and strategic significance of the Fundamental Scientific Library of NAS RA in the fields of science, education, and culture since its establishment. The following objectives have been set: to outline the main stages in the library’s historical formation and development; to analyze the transformation of its functions within the contemporary information environ-ment; to highlight the value of the library’s collections; and comprehensively exa-mine its bibliographic activities in the formation of Armenian studies databases. It is emphasized that the Fundamental Scientific Library has long since moved beyond the boundaries of a classical library and has evolved into a multifunc-tional platform for the creation, preservation, and dissemination of knowledge. We believe that this article will help draw the attention of the scholarly community to the library as a key institution of national scientific thought, cultu-ral memory, and international communication.
