Abstract:

One of the key themes of Vahagn Davtyan’s poetry is the nostalgia for the lost natural land which is exposed by poetic images of fire, burning. By similar implication, mutually supplementing each other, fire is paralleled by other symbolic images – land, blood, trepidation, tear, sound, odour. He compares the poem with light born of the home‐sickness pain and inner burning. This very mystery of the light creation is the essence of Davtyan’s poetry. Одной из основных тем поэзии Ваагна Давтяна является тоска по утраченной родине, проявляемая в художественном тексте поэтическими образами огня, горения. Идентичным контекстом, дополняя друг друга, к огню присоединяются другие символы-образы - земля, кровь, мерцание, слезы, голос, аромат. Автор сравнивает поэзию со светом, который рождается от ностальгической боли по родине, внутреннего горения. Именно таинство сотворения света - суть поэзии Давтяна.
