Քոբայր վանական համալիրի զանգակատան պեղման աշխատանքների արդյունքները

Экспедиция Института археологии и этнографии НАН РА в 2012 г. провела раскопки на территории вокруг реконструируемой колокольни монастыря Кобайр в Лорийском районе РА. Перед южным единственным входом колокольни (построена в 1279 г.) были выявлены 9 целых и 9 фрагментов надгробных камней. На некоторых были надписи на грузинском. Каменное основание перед входом обработано, создавая тем самым более низкий уровень, на котором находятся надгробные камни. Выявленный в западной части глиняный водопровод является непосредственным продолжением канавы, вырубленной в скале. В результате изучения материалов из квадратной в плане комнаты у северной стены колокольни можно предположить, что она была построена позднее, когда колокольня больше не функционировала. In 2012 the expedition group of the Institute of archaeology and ethnography of NAS RA carried out excavations in the territory of the belfry of Kobayr monastic complex in Lori region RA. In front of the southern single door of the belfry (built in 1279) 9 complete and 9 fragmentary gravestones were found, some of which bore Georgian inscriptions. The rocky basement in front of the entrance is hewn creating a lower level where the gravestones were placed. In the western side of the belfry a pipeline of clay tubes was found, which is the direct continuation of the ditch dug in the rock. Adjacent to the northern wall of the belfry a room with a square ground plan was opened and by the studies of the materials discovered there it can be assumed that it was built later when the belfry was out of function.
