Abstract:

Целью данной работы является рассмотрение понятия “автоинтертекстуальность” как средства формирования идиостиля писателя. Анализ автоинтертекстуальных репрезентантов в романе С. Моэма “Бремя страстей человеческих” и автобиографического романа “Подводя итоги” позволяет выявить индивидуально-авторское восприятие концепта “свобода”. Результаты исследования показывают, что автор ассоциирует концепт “свободу” с “волей”, “судьбой” и “счастьем” как в метатексте, так и в посттексте с помошью разных языковых маркеров.The present paper studies autointertextuality as a means of structuring the author’s individual style. The analysis of the autointertextual markers in the novel “Of Human Bondage” and the autobiographical novel “The Summing Up” by S. Maugham discloses the author’s individual perception and interpretation of the concept “freedom”. The study in question has yielded some interesting conclusions: the writer associates the concept “freedom” with “will”, “fate” and “happiness” both in the metatext and in the allusive text by means of various language markers.
