Ֆրանսուա Պիկեի՝ Բաղդադի եպիսկոպոսի և Հալեպում Ֆրանսիայի և Հոլանդիայի հյուպատոսի, եպիսկոպոսի, Պարսկաստանի շահի մոտ արքա Լյուդովիկոս XIV-ի դեսպանի կյանքի ու գործունեության պատմությունը գրված է Գրաս քաղաքի եպիսկոպոսի՝ Շարլ-Լեոնս Անթելմիի և մի շարք աղբյուրների հիման վրա, որն ի մի է բերել հոգևոր և աշխարհիկ պատմությունները:առնչվում է Նախիջևանի երկրամասում նրա կյանքին և գործունեությանը՝ ամփոփված «Վարք մեսսիր Ֆրանսուա Պիկեի» (La vie de messire Francois Picqet) երրորդ գրքում: Based on a number of sources, the story about the life and activities of François Picquet, the Bishop of Baghdad and the Consul of France and Holland in Aleppo, the Bishop of Cesarople, the Ambassador of King Louis XIV to the Shah of Persia, was compiled by Charles-Léonce Anthelmy, the Bishop of the City of Graz, who brought the sacred and the profane stories together. The article fcuses on the period of Piquet’s life, related to his stay and activities in the rgion of Nakhichevan, which is incorporated in the third book of ''The Life of Messire François Picquet''.
