Abstract:

Ժամանակակից կրթական համակարգում դպրոցական գրադարանները կարող են և պետք է հանդես գան որպես տեղեկատվական, ուսումնաօժանդակ և մշակութային կենտրոններ՝ նպաստելով աշակերտների ընթերցողական մշակույթի ձևավորմանը, տեղեկատվական գրագիտության զարգացմանը և ինքնուրույն ուսումնառությանը։ Հայաստանի Հանրապետությունում դպրոցական գրադարանների գործունեությունը չունի հստակ իրավական կարգավորում՝ որպես առանձին ենթահամակարգ, ինչի հետևանքով դրանց գործառույթները հաճախ սահմանափակվում են դասագրքերի պահպանման և բաշխման շրջանակում։ Տարածքային, նյութատեխնիկական և մասնագիտական խնդիրները զգալիորեն նվազեցնում են դպրոցական գրադարանների ներուժը կրթական գործընթացում։ Սույն հոդվածի նպատակն է ներկայացնել ՀՀ դպրոցական գրադարանների գործունեության հիմնախնդիրները և զարգացման հնարավոր ուղիները՝ հիմնվելով Երևանի Սամվել Գևորգյանի անվան թիվ 189 ավագ դպրոցի գրադարանի փորձի վերլուծության վրա։ Հետազոտության շրջանակում առաջադրվել են հետևյալ խնդիրները՝ ուսումնասիրել ավագ դպրոցի գրադարանի նյութատեխնիկական, բովանդակային խնդիրները, ընդգծել գրադարանավարի դերն ու մասնագիտական կարողությունները գրադարանի արդյունավետ գործունեության ապահովման գործում, ներկայացնել հաջողված փորձի օրինակ՝ որպես զարգացման գործնական մոդել։ Ուսումնասիրության արդյունքում կարող ենք ընդգծել, որ համապատասխան մասնագիտական մոտեցման, ղեկավարության աջակցության դեպքում դպրոցական գրադարանը կարող է վերափոխվել բազմագործառու-թային տեղեկատվական կենտրոնի՝ դառնալով դպրոցական համայնքի ակտիվ ուսումնամշակութային միջավայր։ Ստացված արդյունքները կարող են հիմք ծառայել դպրոցական գրադարանների գործունեության կատարելագործման, ինչպես նաև ոլորտի վերանայման համար։
In the modern educational system, school libraries can and should function as information, instructional-support, and cultural centers, contributing to the development of students’ reading culture, information literacy, and indepen-dent learning skills. In the Republic of Armenia, however, the activities of school libraries are not clearly regulated as a separate subsystem, as a result of which their functions are often limited to the storage and distribution of textbooks. Spatial, material-technical, and professional challenges significantly reduce the potential of school libraries within the educational process. The purpose of this article is to present the key issues facing school libraries in the Republic of Armenia and to explore possible directions for their development, based on an analysis of the experience of the library of Yerevan Samvel Gevorgyan Secondary School No. 189. Within the framework of the study, the following objectives are set: to examine the material-technical and content-related challenges of a high school library; to highlight the role and professional competencies of the librarian in ensuring the effective operation of the library; and to present a successful case as a practical model for develop-ment. As a result of the study, it can be emphasized that with an appropriate professional approach and the support of school administration, a school library can be transformed into a multifunctional information center, becoming an active educational and cultural environment for the school community. The findings of this study may serve as a basis for improving the operation of school libraries and for reconsidering policies and approaches in this field.
