Abstract:

Стратегия внешнеэкономической политики Республики Армения строилась (по крайней мере, так декларировалось практически во всех программах правительства, принятых за последние десятилетия) на принципе обеспечения опережающего роста экспорта над импортом. Однако, как показывает опыт последних 30 лет, этот принцип не был реализован в полной мере. В частности, текущий счет платежного баланса, который считается основным показателем успешности внешнеэкономической деятельности страны, в течении всего исследуемого периода (за исключением 2022 года) был отрицательным, а это означает что Республика Армения была страной-импортером. Создавшаяся ситуация требует проведения качественных реформ в экономической политике РА.
The foreign economic policy strategy of the Republic of Armenia was built, at least as was declared in almost all government programs adopted over the past decades, on the principle of ensuring faster growth of exports over imports. However, as the experience of the last 30 years shows, this principle has not been fully implemented. In particular, the current account of the balance of payments, which is considered the main indicator of the success of the country’s foreign economic activity, was negative throughout the entire period under study (except for 2022), which means that the Republic of Armenia was an importing country. The current situation requires qualitative reforms of the RA economy.
