Ադանայի նահանգի հայերի 1915 թ. բնաջնջումը և ունեզրկումը

К концу 1915 года почти все армяне Западной Армении, Киликии и других провинций (вилайетов) империи были депортированы. Как в Адане, так и в других местах турки продолжали экспроприацию собственности, грабеж, присвоение и уничтожение культурных ценностей армян. Депортация, грабеж и истребление армян осуществлялись по приказам центрального правительства, при содействии местных властей и специально созданных организаций и групп, при активном участии обычных граждан. Все слои общества были заинтересованы в депортации армян и грабеже их имущества: обычные граждане-турки использовали награбленное для улучшения условий жизни, местные власти, другие госучреждения, банки, разные страховые компании и т. д. накопили огромный капитал, а османское государство, кроме истребления и конфискации огромного национального богатства армян, решило самый важный экзистенциальный вопрос для турок – вопрос территории, земли. Четкий график и последовательность действий масштабного преступления указывают на то, что оно было заранее спланировано – доказательство того, что Геноцид армян был преднамеренным.
By the end of 1915, almost all Armenians of Western Armenia, Cilicia and other provinces (vilayets) of the Ottoman Empire had been deported. Both in Adana and other places, Turks continued expropriation of property, plunder, appropriation and destruction of cultural values of Armenians. Deportation, plunder and extermination of Armenians were carried out by the orders from the central government, with the strenuous efforts of the local provincial authorities as well as groups and organizations that had been formed for that purpose, also the common people being actively involved in these actions. All levels of society were interested in deporting Armenians and pillaging their property: ordinary Turkish citizens used the loot to improve their living conditions, local authorities, other state institutions, banks, different insurance companies, etc. accumulated immense capital. Moreover, the Ottoman state, in addition to the extermination and confiscation of the huge national wealth of Armenians, solved the most important existential issue for Turks - the issue of territory and land. This large-scale crime was committed according to a clearly set schedule and in an exact order of actions, which shows that the Armenian Genocide had been carefully planned and was perpetrated in accordance with an accurately worked out programme.
