The article contains a short review of the prcsent State of ihe study of Persian historical documents referring to the history of the monastery of St. Thaddeus the Apostle. The information of the Armenian and Persian historical documents represented by the author in the article, State of the belonging of the Mazrayehs of Qarakilisa, Yomridash, Dibak and Reyhanlu Villages in XVII-XVIII ccnturies to the monastery of St. Thaddeus, also of the existence of some land and other estates of the monastery in other villages and towns of Azerbaijan in Iran. The cxistcnce of some estates in Varaknakert and Nushik, now non-existent Armenian villages of Azerbaijan in Iran is evident from the content of sevcral deeds of purchase. The right of the monastery to have the chiraqliq tax from the villages of Qoruq, Mahlazan and Krcrets, confirmed by some royal decrees was often dispuled by the monastery of St. Stepannos Nakhavka and granted to this monastery. The right of having the State taxes of Qaratulki Village was granted to the monastery in 1814 by the decree of crown prince Abbas Mirza and later, in XIX Century, confirmed for several times by the decrees of other rules.
