Abstract:

Статья посвящена вопросу разграничения таких лингвистических понятий, какими являются семантическое калькирование и семантическое заимствование. Утверждается мысль о том, что семантическое калькирование должно ограничиваться теми новыми значениями или оттенками значений, которые являются следствием калькирования семантической структуры иноязычного слова при наличии общности одного или нескольких значений,то есть в тех случаях, когда налицо межъязыковая частичная синонимия. Что же касается случаев перехода значений из одного языка в другой на основе межъязыковой омонимии и межъязыковой омонимии, то их следует отнести к разряду семантических заимствований. The subject matter of the article deals with the problem of discrimination between such linguistic concepts as semantic loan-translation and semantic borrowing. It is suggested that semantic loan-translation must be restricted by the new meanings or shades of meaning which are the result of loan-translation o f the semantic structure of the foreign words possessing one or several common meanings, i.e. in those eases when interlingual partial synonymy is obvious.In connection with the transference of meanings from one language into another based on interlingual homonymy and paronymy, they should be regarded as the cases of semantic borrowing.
