Abstract:

После провозглашения в Армении христианства государственной религией (301 г.) вопрос перевода Библии на армянский язык стал актуальной задачей. Начиная с XVIII в. разные вопросы, связанные с армянским переводом Библии, исследовались несколькими поколениями арменоведов. After the proclamation of Christianity as the state religion in Armenia (301 AD) the translation of the Bible into Armenian became a very real problem which was solved at the beginning of the 5th century by St. Mesrop Mashtots' invention of the Armenian alphabet (405 AD). Since the 18th century different questions connected with the Armenian translation of the Bible have been studied by several generations of Armenologists.
