Abstract:

Статья известного еврейского общественного деятеля, директора института Холокоста и геноцида Исраел Чарни (статья составлена на основе доклада автора на международной конференции в Москве) доказывает, что позиция еврейской интеллигенции к факту Геноцида армян кардинально отличается от позиции официальных кругов Израиля. В статье вводится в оборот ряд документов и объявлений, авторы которых известные геноцидоведы еврейской и других национальностей, и которые доказывают все историческое и моральное банкротство позиции официального Израиля. Эти документы ставят вопрос, как первый шаг, о необходимости принятия факта Геноцида армян. An article of the famous Jewish public figure, the executive director of the Institute on the Holocaust and Genocide (the article is based on the author's paper at the international conference in Moscow) shows, that there is a fundamental difference between the Jewish intellectuals' and Israeli official quarters’ position on Armenian Genocide. Some documents and declarations of the famous Jewish and other nationalities genocide scholars are put into circulation, which are proving the historical and moral insolvency of the official position of Israel. These documents, as a first step, are putting the question of the recognition of Armenian Genocide.
