Abstract:

В истории армянского народа столица Ани, бесценная жемчужина царства Багратидов, занимает исключительное место. Столица Ани всегда интересовала многих европейских, русских путешественников, археологов, ученых и арменоведов. В 1847 г. Х. Абовян написал свою последнюю обширную работу, посвяшенную столице Ани, которую посетил осенью 1847 г. В ней помимо описания путешествия есть очень ценные размышления об исторической судьбе армянского народа, боль за страдания и потери, вера в светлое будущее, а также переданы личные страдания, связанные с невыносимыми трудностями в деле осуществления своих патриотических, педагогических и творческих целей.The capital city of Ani – the precious pearl of the kingdom of the Bagratits, occupies an exceptional place in the history of the Armenian people. Many European and Russian travellers, archaeologists, scientists and Armenologists have always been interested in the capital city of Ani. In this article the opinions of Kh. Abovyan – the founder of new Armenian literature and his two contemporaries – German scientist, geologist H. Abich and French Armenologist M. Brosset about Ani are considered. In 1847 Kh. Abovyan wrote his last extensive work dedicated to the capital city of Ani he had visited in the autumn of 1847. Apart from the description of his journey to Ani there are very valuable reflections in the article about the historical fate of the Armenian people, about the pain that they had endured because of all the sufferings and losses, the faith in the bright future and also his personal sufferings connected with unbearable difficulties in realizing his patriotic, pedagogical and creative goals.
