В статье рассматриваются семантические особенности слов, обозначающих должности. Анализируются, в частности, наименования должностей, претерпевшие семантические изменения, их синонимические связи с соответствущими заимствованными, архаичными, неологическими формами. В армянском языке синонимические соответствия наименований должностей встречаются редко. Определенные изменения указанных слов часто вызваны общественно-политическими изменениями.The semantic group of the words denoting position is discussed in the article. A special attention is paid to the changes in the meaning of the words, forming synonyms. Some words make up synonymic rows due to borrowings,archaisms and neologisms. Certain changes in the semantic field of the words denoting position are often called forth by the changes in the social and political life of the nation.
