Abstract:

1964 թվականը հայ իրականության մեջ նշանակալի դարձավ կարևոր մի իրադարձությամբ. լույս ընծայվեց Պարույր Սևակի «Անլռելի զանգակատուն» պոեմը: Այն ձևավորել և նկարազարդել էր հայ մեծանուն նկարիչ Գրիգոր Խանջյանը: Թե՛ պոեմը և թե՛ պատկերաշարը, ամփոփված գրքի ընդհանրության մեջ, այնպիսի գեղարվեստական արժեք էին ներկայացնում, որ ակամայից խթան դարձան 60-ականների կեսերին արդեն իսկ հասունացող ազգային զարթոնքին: Պոեմի հերոսը՝ հայ ազգի մեծ նվիրյալ Կոմիտասը, իր ժողովրդի հետ սերտորեն կապված լինելով, կրեց նաև վերջինիս ողբերգական ճակատագիրը: 1964 became significant for the Armenian reality because of publication of Paruyr Sevak's "Never-silent bell tower", illustrated by the renowned Armenian artist Grigor Khanjian. Both the poem and the imagery of the book were of such a high artistic value, that already in the mid-sixties they unwittingly became stimulus for the maturing national awakening. Poem's hero, the great Armenian composer Komitas, being deeply connected with his nation, shared the tragic fate of it.
