Abstract:

Кавказский регион в силу своих нефтяных запасов в годы Первой и Второй мировых войн представлял огромный интерес для сверхдержав мира, особенно для Германии, у которой не было нефтяных ресурсов. Поэтому захват Кавказа и, в частности, овладение бакинской нефтью стало важнейшей целью военно-стратегических планов Германии. The Caucasian region due to its enormous oil supplies had a great geostrategic importance during The First World War as well as during The Second World War for the powerful countries of the world, mainly for Germany which lacked oil resources. So the capture of the Caucasus, mainly the oil resources of Baku, became the foremost aim of military-strategies for Germany.
