Изучение истории развития документального и игрового кино явствует о том, что между этими двумя видами кинематографа никогда не было четкой границы. Однако развитие манипуляционных технологий, становление жанра мокументари – фальшивого документального кино, распространение анимационных документальных фильмов – все эти явления указывают на данный процесс. С другой стороны, смещение жанров, все более смелые эксперименты по совмещению достоверных фактов с выдуманными историями позволяет считать это новой стратегией отражения реальности в кино. While studying the history of development of documentary and feature films one can already claim that the difference between these two genres has never been clear. Nowadays, this difference is getting even more vague, and there is no guarantee of documentary films being accurate. Even more, documentaries do not even seek to reflect the reality. The development of manipulation technologies, the formation of mockumentary, the fake documentary genre, as well as the popularity of animated documentary films are the roadmarks of this process. On the other hand, the combination of these two genres and risky experiments of combining reality with fictional stories come to prove that we face a new way of reflecting the reality.
