Музей как социальный институт является носителем и распространителем определенной идеологии и политического направления, а вебстраница этого музея предполагает своего рода пропаганду той же идеологии и политики в виртуальном мире на примере вебстраниц трех музеев Холокоста – Яд Вашема, Мемориального комплекса Холокоста в Венгрии и Мемориального музея Холокоста в США. Museum as a social institution, is a carrier and distributor of a certain ideology and political orientation, and the web page of the museum implies spreading the same ideology and politics in the virtual world. The paper considers this aspect on the example of three Holocaust museums’ web pages – Yad Vashem, Holocaust Memorial Center in Hungary (HMCH) and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM).
