Abstract:

The annual edition of the scientific journal "Current Problems of Social and Economic Development of the Republic of Armenia" has become a tradition at the Institute of Economics after M. Kotanyan of the National Academy of Sciences of RA. The articles of the journal deal with issues of macroeconomics, real sector economy, sphere of services and demography, theory and history of economic studies, which are aimed at promoting the reformation of the national economy. Notwithstanding the importance of other articles, many of which offer valuable insights into sector-specific issues, this article focuses on several topics raised in the journal. Specifically, attention is given to challenges associated with migration processes, the use of indices in forming perceptions of a country's macroeconomic situation, the widely discussed doctrine of the “green economy” in contemporary social sciences, and the principles of behavioral economics concerning the economic and psychological drivers of human behavior. Undoubtedly, within the broader field of economics (including the aforementioned topics) there is a lack of universal consensus. In this respect, the authors of the articles have approached the discussion from this very standpoint.
В институте экономики им. М.Котаняна НАН стало традицией ежегодное издание научного журнала «Актуальные проблемы социально-экономического развития Республики Армения». В нем рассматриваются вопросы макроэкономики, реального сектора экономики, сферы услуг и демографии, теории и истории экономических учений, которые в своих исканиях преследуют цель способствовать реформированию национальной экономики. Не ущеемляя важность других статей, которые в целом относятся к отраслевым проблемам, в данном случае рассматриваются вопросы, затрагивющие современные аспекты миграционных политик, роль статических индексов в макроэкономическом регулировании цен, «зеленой экономики», а также экономические и психологические факторы в экономическом поведении человека. Как по многим, так и по этим вопросам нет единого мнения в экономической литературе. В этом случае, авторы в процессе изложения статьи руководствовались этой точкой зрения.
