В последние десятилетия некоторые азербайджанские литературоведы, особенно историки пытаются причислить к албанам некоторых известных деятелей армянской средневековой литературы и культуры, а их произведения—к памятникам албанской литературы. Within the last few decades some Azerbaijani literary critics and historians are trying to adopt as Albans some renouned personalities of the Armenian Medieval literature and culture and their works as the relics of the Alban literature accordingly.
