В армянской прозе Стефан Зорян является последним представителем классического или критического реализма. Ему был присущ спокойно-уравновешенный аналитический взгляд на действительность.Человек рассматривается в его творчестве в совокупности своих общественных связей. Но в то же время здесь намечен сдвиг, обусловленный всей общественной и литературной ситуацией начала XX в. In Armenian prose Stepan Zorian is the last representative of classical or critical realism. Сalm-well-balanced analitlcal view to reality was inherent to him. In his works the man is considered in the totality of his social connections. But at the same time, a displacement, is noticed here, which is conditioned by the whole social and literary situation of the beginning of XX c.
